For sure; every issue, big or small, that ultimately results in losing your (individual and collective your in this case) time and energy just ends up compounding on each other, and thatâs something we are mindful of.

How about doing more than just being âmindfulâ? Like actually fixing things?
Frankly, I find your responses insultingly dismissive of the problems Funcom keeps creating/not fixing.
Making most of my thralls useless while disappearing others, all without even considering offering compensation for the losses is very poor customer relations.
My smelters and taskmasters canât be placed, neither can my cooks, so everything takes much longer and uses more materials. Definitely not an improvement.
I will have to do what I did before: Run level one purges and make a real mess to clean up, until all lost Barkeeps are replaced. Fortunately, last night I took all my crafters and stuffed them inside cupboards as a precaution.
But can you actually place them in bars? I keep getting a message that I canât place anymore thralls because of a âminion limitâ.
So even if I can find replacements, apparently i wonât be able to use them.
Thatâs all well and good IF you can generate a purge, which Iâve been unable to do for awhile now, even though I ran them ok in the past in the same location.
Youâre getting that message because you have reached your thrall capacity. Try deleting some followers first and then place the barkeep.

You have choice to make if you want to place your artisans youâll need to lay off some other thralls.

Tho ngl Iâd have paid to see the look on your face when some (word I probably canât say but starts with âmotherâ and ends with âefferâ) told you that what you had to tell us was that you were awfully sorry about players losing barkeeps but that FC was going to do exactly f all about it for them and they just have to go out and âreacquireâ them. The fact that you keep having to deliver ânewsâ that is nothing short of a middle finger to the players of this game and then read all the righteous indignation and try to manage it⊠letâs just say Iâm pretty sure FC does NOT pay you enough. I hope you find greener pastures some day because you seem like a decent enough fellow.
So please let FC know that the great tavern addition which was obviously geared towards roleplayers has been an incredible failure. To the point many server owners (myself included) have banned them from their servers after experiencing the glitchiness and lag they caused our players to experience.
The great âliving settlementâ that âfreedâ our thralls was obviously buggy on the live stream. And Iâm hearing itâs not working at all on private servers, most of which are modded to some degree. I havenât seen it myself because my server is sensibly shut down until the smoke clears. I already had all our players box up their bench thralls so we wonât have to deal with it when we do fire back up. Thatâs right, weâll be running literally without bench thralls until some clever modder figures out how to fix what you guys broke. And yes, Iâve heard thereâs a toggle to turn off the living settlement. And guess what⊠Iâm also hearing it doesnât work.
Iâve been running a roleplaying community for this game since a year before launch/early access. And I am here to tell Funcom this: For the love of Crom STOP doing things âfor roleplayers.â You arenât doing us any favors. Youâre just making us look for other games. I dunno, maybe if youâd have bothered to TALK TO US even once we might have been able to help you. Which might have been a little more productive than you guys just making up in your heads what we like and want. Because you very obviously donât know. And that goes for the bazaar as well.

Another bug: broke bond with a lower-level dancer and replaced with a higher level one, and the instead of follower count remaining the same, it added one instead.
Happy? Perhaps for you, @AndyB . The players are busy mourning the loss of hard-earned tavernkeepers. And they are reeling trying to accomodate your force-fed new artisan thrall system.
Stop apologizing. And instead, hold your team to some GD accountability. I appreciate that you summoned the courage to come out here into the actual forums to make a statement about this. I really do. Because from my perspective, you are almost never out here and visible among the forum and player community. But - since you have MURDERED every Tavernkeeper throughout the worlds of Conan Exiles - at least drag @den out here to explain to us 1) how this happened, 2) why this was overlooked (through all of your OWN internal QA, through all of your alleged CLOSED BETA, and then through your presumed TESTLIVE BETA), and most importantly 3) what he is going to do to make things up to the player community.
Iâll tell you right now - when someone fvks up my services, I get mad as hell. But when they have the fortitude to stand in front of me and tell me why it happened, how they missed it, and what they are going to do to make it right - well, it doesnât make me any less mad. But it does provide me with a sense of closure. And it is a much better way to seek my forgiveness rather than to just tell me that my services or things or items âmust be re-acquired.â
You arenât going to be âre-acquiringâ any of my dollars again until I see a solid answer about this, and some GD accountability.
