Problem: updates don’t work

So is it just me o are the updates for this game completely broken??
I have a disk installed copy, the 5gig update release this week I tried to install, completely jammed and wouldn’t not progress past 23.3 %
Uninstalled the game, reinstall and now the game completely refuses to update…
Driving me nuts, anyone else he this issue on xbox?
Any and all other games download and install perfectly from xbox live…
What’s going on here funcom… had this game for over a week and have manage 1 day of gameplay from it… very dissapointed
I believe when you uninstalled the game and reinstalled it the update would’ve automatically installed with the game so no update would be showing afterwards
I did the reinstall offline as recommended by xbox personnel to avoid issues, so they the update would run independently and not in conjunction with a full game install… the update itself was what would not work, the disk operates as required.
Concerning when the update is more than twice the size of the original game, ie the game disk itself is of no value as i seem to downloading the entirety of the game plus any updates that have accumulated over the years. note no DLC has been bought and or installed.
We’re unaware of any issues with updating the disk version of the game, however, it’s possible that this one is related to the patching process failure.
We’d recommend that you first uninstall the game, then proceed to reset the console cache and perform a soft factory reset while keeping games and apps.
To perform the cache reset, hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the console powers off, then disconnect it from the power outlet for a couple of minutes.
Lastly, install the game from the disk while having your console disconnected from the internet. After the game is installed, launch it to determine if there were no issues with the installation. When updating the game, ensure that your console is on a wired connection rather than wireless.
