Since the latest patch the vertical Support beams no longer provide any support. The stability states 100 but anything attached to them gets support from other nearby structures. The support beam is not working. The diagonal support beam is still fine. This was discovered on my build as after the patch many of my ceilings which were previously supported by these beams were missing / demolished.
