Warpaint not working properly

Any server I join it seems like the war paints are bugged at first I thought the war paints had an hour duration But I had logged off and logged in and It was still there.
Then I thought it had a durability bar but that’s not the case because I didn’t take any damage and the war paint buff still disappeared.
I didn’t die or take any damage at all can someone please explain this logic

Warpaints that grant buffs should last for 1 hour, while decorative ones should last for 24 hours.

Which of these are you referring to?
