Weapon Customization

Now…for starters, I know nothing about coding so, I have no idea if what I am asking is even possible, or how difficult it might be.

Add something like the warpaint for weapons/shields/armor. Have it use Silver/Gold as like a filagree or etching etc.

And if you can do that, you could also add in gems (rubies, diamonds, etc) as rare drops that could also be added (jewel encrusted pommel or hilt).

Eventually maybe even find ways of adding it to other things like statues etc.

I love the idea of being able to add jewels or runes into weapons. And I have previously called for some gems to be added into the game. Something akin to the socketing system on Diablo II could add not only some nice decorative touches, but also some depth when choosing bonuses. And as far as adding coloured or decorative patterns or etching goes, I like the sound of that also. Good ideas.
