Weapon kits cannot be applied to punching weapons

It appears this bug has been addressed multiple times before on the forums and remains unresolved.

Bug Description:

Weapon kits cannot be applied to punching weapons.

Bug Reproduction:

Attempt to apply a kit to a punching weapon.

indeed they cannot be applied, both modifications and repair kits cannot be used on punching daggers, sadly its a known issue and was supposed to be “fixed in the next update” last year but it never got fixed, which sucks cuz i was really looking forward to beefing out my new favorite weapon ;-;
