Weapon updates and animations

No, it’s still the third heavy attack for greatsword. It’s just a single twirl but you still spin.

The double spin for single yeah but that’s it. No sunder or cripple either.

That’s what I’m saying though - I think the root motion (the movement caused by the animation) of the attack itself is acting up as the slight bit of forward momentum from the spin isn’t there and it’s preventing the second hit of the spin to connect.

I posted the same on other thread, 2-handed swords are pretty much useless now. I used it a lot, along with a 2-handed hammer, now it’s just the hammer that I use. Bye, bye, variety…

I also agree that the animations can be cool now, but with that speed it’s like slow motion fighting, and that is not much fun for me to be honest. What bothers me is, that this is the direction the two-handed is going and I find it very, very disappointing. Almost every other player using them in our server has ditched them in a chest or dismantled them in the recycling bench.

The second spin is gone, removed entirely, it’s no longer apart of the animation set. Fourth animation has been scrapped entirely as well, the jumping overhead smash.

That one spin hits twice - start of the swing and then when it comes around again. The second spin you’re talking about was part of the fourth heavy attack animation.

Swords don’t work. Named thralls are zeroing out, losing all hit points and armour on them all disappears !!! Is this getting fixed???

I am also not happy with the changes of 2-H Sword.
The biggest issue are the misses, when I attack Salamanders or crocodiles. I cut simply air now. Something with the target mechanic seems broken. I have no problems (except the already known interruptions) to hit a target that has my height or is bigger. The new finisher (replacement of kick) is very strong, but uses half of the stamina bar.

I am not quite sure, but I think it’s the auto-target feature not working as intended. Also, I cannot be sure of this, but it seems to me that any 2-handed weapon now makes you take a step forward with every attack, so I end up ghosting through enemies and appear on their backs after the 3rd or 4th attack. Anyone else noticed this?, is this the way it should be?.
