Hey everybody,
Given the amazing reception of this Question of the Week, we’ve decided to extend it one more week. So if you haven’t yet, send us your best screenshots and stories associated with them!
To kick things off this week, might as well share one of mine!
You might recognize it as one of the pictures we used in one of the latest patchnotes. In fact it was taken during my first foray into the Wine Cellar dungeon. When I reached that point I had one of those “oh so cool!” moments. So I had to take a screenshot
Since it’s been extended, I’ll post two builds I’m the most proud of. Ive posted them before, so some of you may have seen them.
1st, the Turan Palace.
This build is my favorite of all time. It took a couple of months to plan out and build, but the results were well worth it. Unfortunately, I let my server expire, so pics are all I have left. Perhaps one day I’ll rebuild it.
2nd- The Maze
The first maze I’ve built on exiles, and boy is it tricky! This only took me about a week to build, but I already had all the tier 3 resources made. The platform is all triangles, supported by a couple thousand pillars, with anti climb over each of the walls. Eventually I plan to build an underwater portion, but that’s going to take a lot of work (but will be much easiesr now that I have an underwater breathing mask!). Current record for completion is 15 mins, 56 seconds.
I got a couple of screenshots of amazing builds and moments I can share. I guess I’ll start with my first true city build I have ever made: the Imperial City, in my own light. I couldn’t copy it ver-baden, but I did my best to shed it in a different light.
This city took me like 1 week to make, can’t say how much I used to make it, but it was a long build and honestly I enjoyed making it!
Next is a more recent build, Alvaria city, the city in the frozen fogs, it was made to be the most accurate to huge medieval city I could make. Each tower was manned and the goal was that the archers would see an enemy from the tower and then run out to the top of the wall to rain hell on anything that came. Made for some really fun city battles
Thirdly is a build I did before Alvaria, this was after I got the season 2 pass and decided to build a lot of Turanian stuff, this is the Capitol of the Taverani Kingdom; Grand-Keep City. This was a mix of Turanian and wooden and arena to make it feel real.
Next I had to make something with mods again, so I made North Hylia, unfortunately, one of the mods is no longer allowed working for a bit so the castle and walls are gone in my sp world
Finally I have to show off my favorite castle I have ever made: The Ulmanic Castle. The towers are inspired from Hyrule Castle Tower, and I wanted to make something on a smaller scale that would look good either way.
And the aftermath of my server rivals leaving a hole in their pillar base’s anti-climb.

Just sharing a Cool and UnCool moment since we have an extention. I really really love this topic! There are some amazing images everyone has shared and they are inspiring to say the least.

I was just learning the game and ran into a pack of wolves that chased me until I could go no further. I remembered the statement “climb to get out of trouble” posted on the loading screen. When I got near the top this is what was waiting for me.

During Halloween we all became Cool Ghosts!
Sadly the private pvp server my boyfriend and I building on was closed before we could finish this city. I wanted to cry when I heard its shutting down. Its all vanilla (no mods or high farming rates) and it took us a great while to build, because it was very grindy and became very big at some point. We got raided once and had to almost rebuild entirely, but at some point we started getting a lot of help defending it and keeping it safe from other players. We held arena fights and other events and to see people defending something that is not their own but hold dear touched my heart.
Looks awesome, you should see if you can get the server owner to send you a copy of the save file so you can hold onto your work!
This is spectacular… one of the nicest builds i’ve seen. It’s got a very realistic and natural feel about it, I think because of the distributed layout and all of the detail. Amazing work. I can see why people would have wanted to defend it!
I like the time I discovered my purge of snakes popped on top of my maproom - which was located on my roof. It looks like a nest of creepy crawlers.

For the movies, Momoa was a better conan imo, but neither of those two are better than the regular comic conan
