Wheel of pain resetting and not progressing

Steps on how to reproduce issue:
1.Put 1 lvl three thrall and 3 named thralls in wheel of pain
2.wait for the lvl 3 thrall to be tamed and take the thrall out
3.wait for thralls to be 75% complete
4.log out for 8-10 hours
5. behold how they are all now at 25%

I’ve tryed everything i can think of.

  1. replacing taskmaster
  2. moving thralls around the wheel
  3. changing source of food
    4.turning off logging out for 4 hours then turning back on and wait 2 hours to see progress.
  4. threw my controller out of rage…that didin’t work.
    6.asked on reddit…nothing useful except stop playing till patch
    7.well I’m here on the actual forrum…waiting for results.

if there is any work around besides killing my named thralls would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advanced.

Does it happen if you do only one thrall per wheel?

lvl 4 thralls still reset I still have to try to use lesser wheel of pain to still if rhe bug is with wheel of pain and greater wheel of pain.

I have a level 4 thrall in the lesser wheel of pain, who keeps resetting. Since I play single player offline, I dialed down thirst and hunger and let the game running to finish the process.

well sadly I cannot do that on official pvp.

What tier wheel of pain are you using? Try upgading or downgrading and see if that helps? If this doesn’t help, make a post in the Support thread, make sure to include official server # :slight_smile:

At least in single player, offline, it doesn’t matter what level the wheel of pain is. I am not sure how that works or not on official. I need to mention that it only happens for named thralls though.

Ok’ im gona test this right now, hopefully its just a server error, if not most likely a bug from last patch :thinking:

Re-confirming now, my game just froze while I was clearing the Black Galleon. Captain Ioushuwa was almost broken in the lesser wheel of pain. I had to restart, and lo and behold, the captain is reset to zero.

Single player, offline mode, lesser wheel of pain, named thrall.

im going to try turning off before log out then go to work and log back on to see if it resets only while the wheel of pain is running.

Yes, i too can confirm, this is a BUG from the last patch ver. 1.12
How to reproduce:

  1. Put Named Thrall in Greater Wheel of pain
  2. Exit game, then Exit application
    3.Turn on game, enter game, upon entering wheel of pain food must be turned back on,thralls then reset as if being placed for the first time
    This was on SinglePlayer

That’s a good one, try that and let us know if stopping the process before logging off makes any difference, or the thrall resets to zero again.

I tried to stop a process before logging and it did not help. I am playing singleplayer on PC, but I’ve seen this same bug reported on all systems, so I assume the behavior will be the same for you.

Well, yeah, it’s the same here. I used this workaround in single player, in the admin panel. I set the thrall crafting time and conversion multiplier to zero, in order to have the thralls broken instantly. It’s a temporary fix, until this is ironed out.

I play PVP online on official server and bug appeared with last game update. I slaved 4 lvl NPC before. It seems progress of thralls resets at 6 o’clock. At least in case of server which i play

Yeah, thats a good workaround till its patched, maybe someone will pin it :smile:

I’ve also have this happen now. They don’t seem to have a progress bar moving at all now since the update.

Did you reset the food? It’s part of the reset, the food switches to off
