When killing unconscious they fall through the map

Today I was doing some “research” for a video. So i went to the mounds of the dead and New Asgarth knocked out a few thralls and killed them. upon dying they just fell through the map.
My favourite method of farming… Gone

Hi and welcome to the forums
What happens if you move out of render range and then come back? (With some of the past versions of this bug they used to pop back to the surface.) Either way it’s a bug so probably worth a proper report so that it can be added to the pile.

So very new to the game. this is quite common, happens all the time, has been since the game dropped. It’s one of many legacy bugs. Since there is an easy work around; go out of render range and back, no reason to fix it, right?

You can file a bug report and it will go on the stack with a few thousand of the same report.

Welcome to conan, Exile.

Definitely ran into this myself too — it’s wild how some legacy bugs just keep sticking around no matter how many updates roll out. It’s a bit frustrating when you’re trying to farm efficiently and suddenly your unconscious thralls just vanish into the void. At least there’s a decent workaround by moving out of render range, but yeah, would be amazing if they eventually tackled some of these deeper engine quirks. Still love the game, bugs and all — welcome to the chaotic world of Conan Exiles!

this has been an issue for many years now. all you gotta do is relog and they should pop back up

Just walk out of render range and back.
But if you search the ground you will find the thralls hook{?}, and can loot or capture.

Funcom, skeletons have never dropped though. what makes a skeleton different from a human NPC?

As I understand it (though I could be wrong) this is one of the few bugs that cannot be fixed without upgrading the engine.

Upgrading the engine will never happen, because it is extraordinarily impractical to spend a year on it to fix the two or three bugs that doing so would resolve while likely adding hundreds of new ones in the process.
