am having trouble finding where and how to access the whitelist
The whitelist of your server should be accessible through your server host. If you are the person who rented the server.
You’ll need the Steam64ID of all players you want to allow on the server. Put them in the field provided for this purpose, activate the whitelist and save the server settings.
