I doubt there any sinister intent prevalent but I did notice an edit to one of my old threads as well. No idea what was edited or why but

The topic was probably moved to the correct forum, it’s hard to notice at first, example, the Siptah forum is now emerged with the general forum, etc.

Ahhh that’s exactly what has happened. Moved over to feedback. I knew it wouldn’t be anything worth stressing over.

I’ve actually been busy with other tasks so I haven’t even been doing forum mod stuff the past couple days beyond merging the IoS forum with General. That’s likely why you got the notices.
