Can you show me what you are reading cos the only statements I have heard are pretty much “We don’t provide traditional MMO GM like support” which is what you have been told as a reply to your “tickets” as well?

It has been over 2 weeks since I showed “irrefutable proof” of a clan SPAMMING teir 1 fence foundations over 6 squares on the map. Which IS in their public “harassment and griefing issues” so I ask when am I and everyone else on the server expected to recieve support that this company has stated it “may” give? The support I am asking for is PUBLICLY stated to be fulfilled by the company. I am not asking for anything more than the company has stated it “may” take action on. I am here to tell other consumers that the companys support for its consumers is abysmal (7 full days(decay timer) till I was alerted I’d need the clans ign). I feel they did this to spite me/players asking for support but I have no proof. I did not design the game with a built in timer for EVERYTHING you own to be deleted before I was able to give support. Now why would I pay the company for the ability to do what the company says publicly it will do? Reporting to Sony will do nothing as this isnt harassment it is griefing in the form of abuse of the build system that they have no control over. However if you feel you NEED to pay for a server to get just this basic level of support then I feel you have justified it to yourself already.

Judging by your own statement, they have decided to not interfere in your case. “I may” doesn’t mean “I will”. So sorry but while I understand why you are frustrated, the fact that you don’t get what you think you should doesn’t have anything to do with what was promised to you when buying the game.

EDIT: The fact that they have asked for ign clan might indicate that they are looking into your reports. Whether they will decide to interfere is another story. Just saying, maybe you did something terrible on the server and this is why you are walled off. Every coin has two sides. Either way, kicking and screaming that you are hated by Funcom and they are doing all this out of spite just shows how clueless you are.

“May” implies bias and seeing as I have given over ONE HUNDRED pictures of the sheer scale of the abuse I am appaled by the level of support given. The second message I recieved from support took over 7 days since my first message to support. In it I was told to get the clans ign (they are offline seeing as the griefed what they wanted) and “there are alternatives to the Official PVE servers such as moderated Private servers with administration and strict rules regarding griefing or the Official PvP servers, where players may destroy one another’s structures and prevent land claim griefing the blocking of points of interest, which unfortunately is an inevitable occurrence in PvE servers”. This has been a problem for years that has yet to be adressed outside of support and they even went as far as to tell me in essence to move servers cause this will 100 percent happen again. So basically to keep playing the game I have to revert to level one and just wait for it to happen again because offical servers support is cherry picked/they are unable to get to you before everything you spent time on decays/you pay them money so you can take the full time position of support. Also will not be compensated if support does act to slowly. However having such open ended rules that you are allowed to cherry pick what/who you will act on is apparently okay.

As a former Mod, 100 pictures, 1000 pictures, 10,000 pictures is not gonna get me to…

Its gonna take time and effort to go over said pictures, and find other users who have reported it, then try and pull info on all users to make sure this isnt some one sided thing.

I’ve had people put giant man junks statues on my lawn, swastikas. Send hate message, sexual harassment. I’m well aware, the Officals do not have same support as most games.
Same as FO76. There not set up to have GM’s and such in same manner as Lotro Or ESO.

100%? If thats case then you must’ve did something or do something to piss someone off.
I’ve server jump myself, and its not 100%, there good chance of it do to troll/greifer count in Conan Exiles.

Again, the tools some games have to combat this… are not all there. Collecting info on it form ALL sides can be pain in ass.

And basing a BAN 1 person story is a BAD IDEA. Again… the tools funcom has limits how they likely get all info. Don’t expect them to jump right in on your say so.

I would honestly just switch server or join one of many privates that get advertised on these forums.

Or, hang in there, and wait and see. Remember, your not only person with issues… I wouldnt expect direct action on something like this.

One full week after my final response they responded today at 2 in the morning. Sadly it is clear to me they are back peddling with more pr speak.

There are plenty of said private servers available free of charge on all platforms, so players only choose to rent their own if they want to start their own community, either publicly or privately.

This is a full week after my last message to them. If this is the level of support you used to give then you should be ashamed. “Extending claims or creating no-build zones would not solve this issue, as griefers would just have to spend more resources to build around a larger area” they wont even give themselves extra time to be able to act BECAUSE “griefers would just have to spend more resources” I believe this to be bias seeing as they are allowed by the community to cherry pick even if it is harassment without being held accountable for their inaction. Me simply posting here and voicing my complaints to the community has gotten a faster response from support than directly messaging them.

By spending more resources they would also block more spawn points, which would make that problem worse.

There in Olso, So depending on your time zone. They could very well be morning for them.

By me, by time I’m up and going work, there heading home. So most of replies I get from them are midight or early morning for me, lol.

I was mistaken in that their message was sent at 7 am pst.

So why should I play/pay a game that has a worst service to me/my platform?
It’s not a direct rant to Funcom, it’s a general question.
Even if I love the game, in the long term I’ll start feeling stupid having less chances/options/services and this could drive me away from the game.

We appreciate your feedback @Lear55, even though the title for this thread might have been poorly chosen as we don’t put any less effort on the console versions or communities, in fact, it’s quite the opposite, as certain platform-specific issues are much harder to deal with but we’re trying to address all issues for all platforms.

Also, due to how certification on consoles work, we are not as flexible to tackle issues as fast as we can on PC, which is why it’s not always possible to simultaneously patch and hotfix.

To address some of your concerns:

That goes across all platforms, certain issues may take longer due to their complexity, others due to being low priority, but our developers work hard on tackling as many issues as quickly as possible, which can be seen by the patch notes shared on each platform’s board.

Feel free to reach out to us privately regarding any private server concerns and we’ll do our best to assist you.

We’re always looking into the community’s feedback and it has influenced the game’s direction and balancing more often than not, but it’s always best and easier for us to keep track of it if one post is created in the Suggestions board per concern, as others will likely join in a constructive discussion specifically regarding that topic.

We’re aware of these concerns and they’re being looked into by the developers.

This is due to a new setting that is enabled by default but can be toggled off, you may find it within the General section of the Server Settings tab and it’s named ‘Vocal Visibility Duration’. Setting it to 0 will disable this feature.

Again, we appreciate the feedback but, as mentioned above, creating a new topic focusing on a specific concern and getting a constructive discussion going is ideal, providing that there are no similar topics open at the time, as this allows us to better gauge the community’s opinions on the matter.
