I was wondering why there is a lack of any weather aside the maelstrom on the Isle of Siptah ? How is it staying green in areas without even a little rain ?
C4 photosynthesis produces a four-carbon intermediate compound, which splits into carbon dioxide and a three-carbon compound during the Calvin Cycle. A benefit of C4 photosynthesis is that by producing higher levels of carbon , it allows plants to thrive in environments without much light or water.
Happy now? lol
I know you was partially joking in this reply so please see this in that light, ok ? I agree that is possible by in the world it is not as prominent as C3 and some places are barren because of lack of water, but only relatively small areas of barren areas.
I was totally joking. Do you really think the Devs have a clue about C4 photosynthesis. They just screwed up the weather on Siptah.
Being an island surrounded by water, there should be torrential downpours occasionally, and some very nasty weather, or all of those shipwrecks just had REALLY bad captains.
Have seen some of the drivers around today ?
I suspect it is because âweatherâ dynamics are hell on server resources and also because the screens and screens of ranting and screaming on Exiled Lands where/when the weather is all the time On Siptah there is The Ash, which is a kind of âweatherâ - and let us not forget the lâil olâ Maelstrom, which is kind âweatherâ?
Rain only available in certain areas would be mysterious and make the land even more interesting especially if they expand on why it only rains in a few areas of the map.
Actually, Iâd love to see tropical storms and huge waves that flood areas, even if it isnât very feasible. We see those ships run aground pretty far in at times.
Too much of a wish, I suppose.
But it would be very cinematic seeing a wave of water with a sinking ship coming at you in the low areas.
We are not sure if the ships came from the seas all of them atleast. Some may have been tossed out by the maelstrom to land all over.
This is just me guessing but,
I suspect that Siptah doesnât have weather because of the strain it would put on the server. I might be wrong, but something tells me they just took the weather system from EL and turned it into the Maelstrom and called it a day.
AKA - Conan Exiles is too Conan Exiles for a good weather system.
I kind of miss the rain, and the snow.
But also the dust and the sand.
Eh, thereâd be piles of ships around the towers. Almost all the ships are in lowland areas.
There may be even a little fatigue from the âits raining in my base!â refrainâŠ
Itâs not difficult that a giant centralized, magic storm messes with typical weather. Or Yog doesnât like rain
