A certain thread was closed. It was the most civil forum conversation (comparitevly for this forum) and yet closed and delisted. I will let you guess which on it was. It hurt my soul not to continue the conversation. Masking any competition… @Dakhma @Kikigirl pleas dm me if y’all want to continue chatting on it.

That’s a shame. It was nice to see some actually civil discussion despite certain attempts to aggressively derail it and shut it down. I guess that they found a different way to do it, since trolling and flaming didn’t work.
Mind including me in that private chat, @biggcane55? Unlike certain other participants, you and @Dakhma and @Kikigirl were posting actual facts, and I’m interested in that topic, and also in getting my information from people whose opinions I respect.

Well technically Jimbo is right in that these forums are about FC and therefore anything not driving to FC is not in FC’s advantage to keep up.
I think we want our cake and eat it too in that the forum loves to proclaim the game is dead or dying or going down hill but yet we also feel that they should be secure enough in their niche standing to allow discussions over new competitors…which is it? Is CE secure in it’s position or does it need to protect it’s standing and therefore remove promotion of competition?
