No. They have never since it’s cheaper. Also why public beta exists: free, cheap testers.
Well, I’m hoping that they keep polishing it until it’s less broken than Conan Exiles.
That said, I won’t be pre-purchasing it, no matter what sort of shiny rewards they attach to it. I won’t buy it on release day either. I’ll wait for a few months and see what people are saying about it then.
Mind you, this is SOP for me with most games. Very few companies have earned my trust in a way that makes me buy their stuff on day 1.
