Well this is funny (probably it would be a real issue if I was an online player…)
All my properties are no longer mine, from a chair, to the bed, from the worbench to the bonfire they all belongs to Mang!
Who da hell is Mang if my character’s name is Kharza?
Well, I used admin panel to summon a truncheon (“manganello” in italian) and the shortword for research was “mang”.
I don’t know how but now “mang” possess all my belongings, as I said no issue until now (didn’t log out yet), I can still use “mang’s properties” and place items in “her” land, but still if I select them to move they are clear “not Kharza’s stuff”!
As I said is somehow funny, but coudl be an issue with legitimating lands and claiming, especially in online game.
Yes, currently I’m still in “Mang’s” realm even after clsing and re-entering the game.
Basically I’m not having issues because actually I can operate within my base/claiming with no consequences: I can lock/oper chest, I can remove/replace items and so on. But each item I move, even new item that I create is “Mang’s property”.
Honestly I do not know how did it happen, I was talking to my wife with the game opened, maybe a purge or a sandstorm occurred (I’m placed in the center of Sepermeru) but honestly I do not remember 'cause I wasn’t pay direct attention:
I simply got back to my joypad aaaaand voila: Mang was risen!
Wait wait wait… here some new about the issue.
Currently Kharza is in a clan named “Mang”, a clan that I never created obviously:
as an offline singleplayer there’s no point for me to make clans but… that would explain the “mang’s property attribution” issue but create a new issue that is:
I never created a clan, no one else could have done that 'cause…well I was anyway sitting facing the monitor and never left the room.
The clan simply “auto-generated” itself?
So Mang’s is not a ghost landlord, but an intelligent swarm clouding my digital properties ready to take control over real world!
if this is single player, you should be able to leave the clan, and keep all property.
everything always belongs to the last person in a clan.
So if you’re the only person, you keep your stuff
open character sheet, select the clan tab, press the leave clan button.
If many is a sentient short sword. You are maybe being dominated by your sword. I guess somehow you accidentally created a clan named Mang as that was the last name you used in search. Maybe?
I searched for “mang” in admin panel for creating a truncheon yes, but I NEVER created a clan, not even once! (oh well, now I re-named the “mang clan” into Mang’s Dynasty but… the clan is the same that auto-generated itself ^^).
So I can understand that the “mang” word remained in the short search, but, again, I never opened a clan, so why did I find Kharza into a clan?
