A Question about Salvage.... WHERES MY FISH NETS!

So… now we can’t pick up our fish nets because they turn to salvage? And my Wheels of Pain also turn to salvage, so I have to build a new one every time I need one? What the heck is going on now? I have over 3200 hours in this game and it is getting worse! Not too happy, to say the least, and not a fan of the Sorcery gig. Any ideas what’s with the salvage problem? Any insight would be appreciated, cause I must be missing something somewhere, lol.

The building hammer needs some time from players to digest it. If you start using it more and more eventually you’ll understand how brilliant feature is.
Then.
The game was served years ago with low storage items. The only great storage item was the vault but it was so damn big that almost nobody use it, especially in pve servers.
Now we have arcane cupboards that works as vaults.
All these years we created bad habits storaging useless items and creating lags either online either single player.
The building hammer creates everything back to materials without loosing cost anymore and this makes the storage items less, so it’s easier for the game to run.
We need to understand and change the way we play, it’s on our benefit the game to run better, so it’s best not to complain about it :+1:t6:.

Force yourself to it.
A week later you are addicted :upside_down_face:

So another words, you get the materials back from salvage to build another one? Lol. Okay, I understand the storage thing, probably a good idea. The hammer was a little confusing at first, but I agree, its a good deal. I hate changes, especially when I have things down pat, but its always good to move up I guess, haha. Thanks for the info, folks.

Yeah, there are some things I’d prefer to be pick-uppable rather than turning back into raw materials, but on the whole I like the idea of being able to scrap stuff for 100 % refund of material costs. I can plop a temporary Wheel of pain near an NPC camp, and once I’ve collected enough thralls from there I can blow up the wheel and use the materials for something else.

Today in an official server I fixed a stairway for my team mates castle. When I finished I send him the photo saying…
If you don’t like it dismantle it or change it, we loose no materials.
Not only this. I fixed banners and decoratives I never fixed without the fear to loose materials.
Taking back your things encourages creativity, if you don’t like this wall here, poof it’s gone, how would khitan look with pict, Naah I don’t like it let’s try something else…
Speed and creativity, especially the erase system is supreme, I had to climb to erase walls, now a simple x and gone no matter how high, no matter how far :man_shrugging:.
