A question for devs about purge meter decay

I wonder if there would be any way to convince a Funcom developer to explain the mechanics of the purge meter decay?

The Conan Exiles Wiki has plenty of information on how to accumulate purge meter points, but nothing regarding meter decay - and for a good reason, we the players don’t know how it actually works.

I have inquired with some modders, and they don’t know either. The mechanics for it are not visible in the devkit.

Does decay start as soon as the last clan member logs off? Does it decay every fifteen-minute tick? How many points does it decay by?

I hate how fast the purge meter decays, especially for a solo player, but I’d… probably… hate it slightly less if I understood how it actually worked.

Excellent question! Is there any chance to get some info from the @Community? Can we bribe you guys? :pineapple: :pizza:

Apparently coffee is popular around here…

I don’t drink caffeine myself, so you can have all of the coffee too if that is your price. :coffee:

To be honest I see an anomaly in the purge meter. Maybe I should stay out of this conversation because ps4 has a lot anomalies in this game, but sometimes my purge meter doesn’t fall even after I didn’t log in to the particular server for some days, but the next day that I logged in is dropped to half :man_shrugging:.
The same anomaly I find in the rising as well. Once I had my purge bar full so I decided to log in in 8013 in purge timer so I’ll accept the purge. When I logged in I find my purge meter way down from the limit… OK I said no purge today, but because I was bored to pick up all the thralls from defending positions, I took some statues to go to the pools. On the way I killed almost nothing, I see the purge message on my screen and my bar was exactly where I left it the last night 🤦🏼. So I run back to accept purge.
Strange things, I don’t know, still anomaly or not it would be nice to take your answer from the team.
