Logged in…that was it

I see reports of this going back to December 2023. I think if they could have fixed it, they would have by now. It got much worse after they added the latest pile of content, and somehow its server related – I’ve never seen a report from single-player.

This game is not playable in multiplayer in its current state, and it appears to be un-fixable.

Funcom can add a disclaimer to their store pages. Anything less is deception.

Or, if I’m wrong: fix it.

Go to the Dune discord, dozens begging to throw money at funcom. Most Conan players wont be playing Dune for multiple reasons.

Now if you’re talking about foot nailed to floor syndrome, public server? Lot of builds close by? Your build large with a lot of storage? Are you logging in around a lot of occupied benches, dancers, and thralls?

I was on playing most of the morning. PC, Pserver. Other then having to wait for my neighbors city state to load in so I’d stop rubber banding, I didn’t have an issue.

But my opinion “unplayable” is yet another term that has been used so many times when it didn’t actually apply that is has lost all meaning. 20 years ago unplayable meant you literally couldn’t play it. I swear people use it now if it takes too long to log in.

Yes I know some people are having real issues, some insta crash trying to log in, or make it to their keep, then crash. That is unplayable. Foot nailed to floor? Wait for everything to load in, still nailed to floor? Pull your bracelet and play. I’ve had to do it a few times.
