i personally would love to see it possible for the player character to be enslaved as a possibility for NPC or Player Characters beating them and then a quest or certain amout of conditions be met before being Released from this it would make a great mechanic for human npcs and other player characters to have this as a possible outcome to battles that they lose

Sorry to be the party pooper here, but this is an idea that I vehemently oppose to in the base game. This should be a mod, and I’m pretty sure there probably already is one.
To explain my reasoning, let me ask you the following question: have you ever been playing on a server and then it crashes and stays down for at least 20 minutes? If yes, how did that make you feel?
That’s how your idea would make “enslaved” players feel.
If you die in-game, you respawn and you’re free to do whatever you want. You can try to recover your stuff, you can shrug and say “screw it” and re-equip yourself in other ways and go do something else, you can ragequit for the day, you can call on your friends to help you out, or literally anything else you want.
If you get “enslaved”, your freedom to play is gone. You gotta go jump through whatever hoops to get free.
i appreciate your thoughts on this however i disagree as the idea i had for this concept is one of a single quest to unlock something else and then optionally repeatable for players who want this kind of thing my thoughts for it is to have it as an admin option for private servers or perhaps official servers with that as part of the primice and not a core part of base game play…though i do respect your thoughts the idea of having thralls itself provides the thought of becoming enslaved yourself …so perhaps have it as an option to enable this content on either private servers or perhaps in official servers with Labeling for such activites on it
