Thats one option, though god bubbles were taken away so perhaps something nice instead of that like a few miricles you can do… and avatar can be shot easy from ballista so maybe cost of avatar decrease and do away with needing high priest, high priest should just decrease the maisfestation cost.

You could get a prayer for heat temperature resist and cold temperature resist thats ongoing until you switch it, Similar to how wisp stays on. Where sorcery is about utility, religion could fortify survival.

Well, Conan got a nice engraving onto his sword from the ghost of a Mitraen priest so he could kill a demon. Of course, that is already represented in the game by the Phoenix-engraved sword.

And an echoing voice in a temple told Princess Yasmela to hire a random dude as her general, and the first passer-by happened to be Conan. Maybe that voice was Mitra, maybe a priest who had received instructions from upstairs - it was never conclusively explained. But it seems Mitra had some plans for Conan from relatively early on.

That said, anything goes with the Exiled Lands religions because they may be completely separate from the actual gods of the Hyborean Age. Whatever “miracles” we create on the altars are more a case of faith-fueled necromancy (I mean, we are sacrificing bits of human victims on those altars) than actual worship of divinities.

The nexus inside the frost temple is able to make manifest things believed by the inhabitance of the Exiled Lands so long as enough people believe in the same thing. Kind of like the Kuatoa from D&D. It’s not a real God but instead a manifestation of the belief of a God.

Theoretically if enough people believe that it rains roast beef, it would happen.
