Age of War Chapter 2 Purge concerns

Bug Description:

I’m concerned about treasure raids and the upcoming changes to the purge system. The Playstation as it currently stands is unable to handle purges. Between game crashes, disconnects and graphical failures, the game is unstable. We helped another clan with a purge last night. Their base is on the larger size. There were three players and about 7 combined thralls fighting a large Nordenheimer clan. The ground graphics gave up and fully unrendered in both Quality and Performance modes. Frame rate was stuttered and rubber banding was awful. Two of us suffered full game crashes and were booted from the game, unable to return until the purge was over.

I would have put it down to base size, but we had the same issue Monday at our own base that was considerably smaller, about 4000 pieces. We had two players defending. One was booted right as the Purge started and was unable to return for 45 minutes. Teh terrain was just a grey sheet.

I am looking forward to the new update, as all bases, especially these mega bases do need to face damage and the risk of losing thralls does need to increase. Especially players who build in sandstone in the north. The hostile area needs to be more dangerous and purges are a good way to fix this.
However, if chapter 2 simply adds more thralls attacking and doesn’t address the fundamental performance issues the Playstation has on both the PS4 and 5, the experience is going to be ruined.
