I’d prefer funcom shut down the ages and battle pass for a bit while they do some bug crunching and polishing.
The issue with the season passes and events/ages is you are always working forward, you have to, you have a dead line. What this means is forever leaving a bigger and bigger stack of issue in your wake.
Thought you said everything was okay, that there was nothing wrong with this update. Didn’t you rant about that a while ago? Tell some of us we were over-reacting?
So one of my bearers was 21k HP after spending hours and getting the right feats with potions. After the update went down to 3k so got annoyed and deleted him I don’t understand why? You do this thrall HP updates? Just please!!! Leave the thralls alone that are already levelled up. New ones that you place down I understand change those but not the ones players worked hours / days to level up!!! Argh so frustrating!
The answer is simple: they aren’t actually reading feedback from the test server…
While return of the exact split is good, there still needs to be a way to get all contents of a container in one go, and empty inventory in one go (take all / move all).
Imagine you know there is a raid coming to your base when raid time starts, and you need to move all your stuff to a safer location. You just grab everything, portal to the other place, put everything there. Do this repeatedly until the first base has only bare necessities. To go through every individual item(type) in such a case is insanity. That the devs don’t recognize the need for ‘take all’ and ‘move all’ tells me they don’t really know much anything about living on a pvp server.
ps. remove dragonpowder from the game or at the very least retract the change that made it easier to craft. Dragonpowder is the bane of all pvp. Offline raiding is not ‘real’ pvp, and its like 100 times too easy as it is.
they did huge nerf to bomb with this update, craft time of a bomb is now very long (even longer then it was in early access, and at this time was long), they also nerfed distance from which you can place a bomb from you so now much more limited, all that allow better survivability for a defender and offline raid will take more time too as fast bombing will be very hard to do now
Beta is a small sample size. The point of it is to get an idea of any critical bugs that would delay launch. Design feedback at that stage will probably not be acted on and left in for the general player.
As for the bearers themselves, as standard as the sun rises, FC will see an issue and over corrects it. I don’t believe there is anyone on here that is saying over 20k for w thrall is just peachy ok. I knew eventually they would be adjusted down. I didn’t know they would be adjusted down to gazelle levels through but it’s something I should have guess on.
Now all this silliness about rolling back the change completely that popped up, to what specific “golden age” do we roll back to? Please be specific so I can remind you of all the problems we had then.
And to the contingent that doesn’t want them to change anything…look just quit the game. You are asking for development to stop and go into maintenance mode…that is a death sentence to any game so instead of turning over the monopoly board because you are upset so that no one can play…just walk away. It’s literal narcissistic behavior to try to push a game to oblivion with thousands of active players because you are done.
The horse backhole inventory. The only hot fix testlive got. Thing is, as it stands, I’d bet testlive is a couple builds behind live, and about to miss out on the hotfixes. To me that just prove how important testlive is to funcom. It wont get another update till the next age, and very soon will be shut down or quite literally unplayable.
I would rather have devs fix one game breaking issue right off the bat instead of having to wait for it to be pushed along with dozens of comperatively trivial fixes.
And which specific issue is it that you consider game-breaking? Because pretty much all of the issues that you are dismissing as trivial are game-breaking to someone.
Don’t get me wrong - I’m a little frustrated with various things right now - not least the fact Funcom somehow once again managed to push out an immediate hotfix to patch the one error that was in the players’ favour - stamina adjustment. The change from 0.1 seconds to 1 second recovery time is actually one I’m in favour of, but I don’t think that should have been patched more quickly than some of the other issues that are waiting for the upcoming hotfix.
