With the new attribute system, there are so many great options. Really fantastic job with this Funcom. I 100% love thee agiltiy tree. It’s so much fun - except when mounted. Other than a bow, there are no real options that can take advantage of your inherent damage bonuses. This is somewhat disappointing and I can carry a strength weapon around. But that doesn’t feel great.
I think that one handed short swords could be a good option and can treat them like any other 1H weapon on a mount.
But here me out: Whirling Blades on a mount. It would feel really good to have two swords out at full charge. It doesn’t have to be OP. But it could be a really cool flavor for agility builds.
I agree there should be an agility mele weapon you can use on a mount. I just made both the heavy and light version of the Poitain lances, and was disappointed to find out they were both strength based. Maybe the light lance could be agility based? Also, maybe make javelins usable while mounted? Same moveset even, light attack is a jab, heavy attack is a throw?
While this one isn’t of the mounted Shortsword camp… and this one very much enjoys Shortswords… It’s just… there are enough absurdities without this. Ignore the fact that many “short” swords are larger than their not short equivalent.
This one is very much of the mounted Javelin camp.
Mounted archery is good, but mounted pokey stick is sorely lacking.
Also, mounted whirlwind blades is perfect.
There are historical two sword mounted styles (this one is most familiar with the Korean ones) and it would be very nice.
