PvE Official 8080 on PS5
Seems I’m not just having a bad dream from which I’ll happily wake up, based on seeing a few similar posts.
I’ve played over 5500 hours of Conan Exiles in the past 5 years but lately I’ve only been tagging my clan’s dozen transportories & few main bases every week or because the recent patch glitches have just been too annoying to work with. But I’ll always be back for more Conan Exiles adventures in the months ahead as these bugs get worked out.
I went camping for a week & tagged all my bases, then got home Aug 31. Very certain I’d tagged all the bases again on Sept 1 or 2. But yesterday (Sept 8) I logged in to find all my bases intact with 112 hours remaining on their decay timers. However, ALL my followers were gone… after refreshing the bases & rebooting, all still gone. So I checked Event Log… yup, apparently with almost 5 days still remaining on my Decay Timer, ALL my followers decayed because “no guild member has been on the server for a long time” or drivel to that effect.
I see some comments re: an inconsistency in decay timers for buildings vs followers that seems to have surprised many of us (perhaps in the switch back to 10 day from the holiday 20 day span?).
To feel my pain, my clan (which is down to me alone lately) has lost over 150 followers including;
- about 20 level 20 fighters
- 5-7 each of level 20 archers, bearers & dancers
- 6 level 20 horses & saddles
- a few assorted rhinos, camels & other pets up to level 20.
- a level III or IV dancer at every transport (open to all players) for corruption removal.
- of course all the level 20 followers & most of the others were geared up with the highest level armor, changed to a uniform type & legendary weapons.
According to Event Log, all these followers disappeared on Sept 5 & 6, not all at once, which is a bit odd.
What do I want? I want a magic digital fairy to turn back time on PvE server to Sept 4 so I can keep all my laboriously created followers… but since the inventory system is still screwed up, I don’t have much hope
