Read the post he said the patch in the certification phase in other words being passed by Sony & Microsoft. It would have been ready but FC shafts us by focusing on PC.
They also said the patch was in certification almost a month ago during the developers live stream, It takes a few days at most to pass certification. So either it has failed certification or someone isn’t being honest here which wouldn’t be the first time they’ve been caught telling fibs. Either option isn’t looking good for us.
Cdproject red has come out with 2 major patches with over 1000 bug fixes and optimization’s in a tiny fraction of the time funcom has supposedly been working on a fix for xbox.
Yeah and Call of Duty receives constant patches. Funcom employees are just lazy.
We have to remember as well that Conan Exiles is Funcoms first foray into consoles if I’m not mistaken and I just don’t think they have staff with the experience or knowledge to port games to consoles. That is why I was so happy to hear they were bringing in help from outside the studio, but alas that also turns out to be most likely another delay tactic and probably never happened.
Or of course I could be way off base here, lol.
Hello Exiles! Quick update:
Both console patches are currently in the certification step. We will, of course, release them as soon as possible, and hope to have them certified in time to release by tomorrow, Wednesday March 31 - but we can’t offer a guarantee at this exact moment.
Please note: This could mean that one of the consoles gets the update before the other. We won’t hold the release for one console up just because the other one hasn’t completed certification yet.

No one cares anymore people where going at each other for days on here and asking for days on what’s going on and nothing up till now bad communication. Nothing else to say about it
This company is a joke. Live stream said before end of month. That would be 1 more day. And if you were having complications and knew you weren’t gonna make that timeline theres no way you just figured out that information today. So if by chance the update comes tmrw then ill hold how i really feel until then. But once again Funcom just proves over and over again that their ‘‘more diligent to communicate’’ is a lie, and their denial of putting console fixes on burners just shines through.

Gotta love it let me get my surprise look on:smiley:still no update lol y funcom y so it now takes almost 3 weeks for Microsoft to do certification so when I went to the Microsoft website and looked at the steps for certification it doesn’t look like it takes weeks
Greetings everyone and thank you for being patient and understanding with us.
Unfortunately neither the Xbox or PS4 patch have been certified at this point. We will thus not be able to deliver on the expectation of patching this month, for which we apologize. We were too optimistic with the timeline.
We of course plan to release both as soon as possible, and are working on addressing any issues and coordinating with both Microsoft and Sony to have the certification completed in the shortest possible time frame. Currently we do not have a clear estimate for the releases, but will share with you once we do.
Though we don’t have a clear estimate for the releases, this does mean we missed the window for this week.

I’ve gotta agree with this, they either lied about the fact it was already in certification, or they didn’t pass certification. Either way, they have given us false information and continue to feed us lies instead of simply telling us the full truth. Really pathetic for a company to use this strategy. I love this game so damn much, but this company is just really terrible with customer service and public relations. I appreciate the effort community managers, but it falls so very short of what is needed to keep players feeling like you guys actually care.

Funcom, easy solution, sell the Conan IP to a company/ studio who will actually take care of the game. You’ll make money, our game will get fixed, everyone wins. Sell off the Conan IP, you are squandering it.
oh my god … the employees of fc also take off their shoes to count to twenty at the checkout. it just scoffs at any description
