Annoying Blood Splatters and Half-Health when not injured after logging into the game

Log into the game and see blood splatters and half-health even when sleeping in shelter. Jump for damage or eat food a few times to have health go back to full and still see the annoying blood splatters.

I know there is a work around where I can kill myself to get rid of it, but I am hoping there is a development fix on the way.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Log into the game
  2. Notice the blood splatters and half-health
  3. Eat food a few time and watch health bar immediately go to FULL/MAX
  4. Continue seeing the blood splatters for the rest of game play regardless of current health bar level
