Any chance of getting DLC armors for accuracy?

As title says, we currently have only Shemite, Stygian and Hyrkanian armor for archers, would be nice to see more variants.

It would be nice to be able to customise the attributes of your armor, as suggested in many threads already.

This way we could combine whatever we want, but sure that could be one less reason for some to buy future DLC :slight_smile:

Possibly, but if you’re forced to shove DLC down your customers’ throat by making it mechanically superior to existing items you’re for sure on a downward slope as a company. Note: they haven’t done this YET and I sure hope they never will!

I never understood why they went to the trouble of introducing the lining/padding system (a good idea), but then continued to have the stats on the visible part of the armor. It’d be much better to have the stats determined by the padding/lining, and then you could put whatever visual you’d like on that set of stats. I realize this is not exactly an original idea on my part, I guess I’m just expressing my wonder at why it isn’t already done like this.

And if you wanted a commercial incentive, I’d say people would be even more likely to buy additional DLC if they knew they could use the visuals from it without gimping themselves based on their current location/preference.

It’s even relatively “realistic”, in the sense that additional lining and padding ought to make armor warmer, or less of it / additional built-in airflow would make the armor cooler: the surface of armor needn’t be the only thing that determines how warm it is.

I would pretty like to see the feature of armor customisation in vanilla, until then I will use a mod.

Thing is with hot and cold protection.
There is not every armor type (light/medium/heavy) with each attribute for both of the temperatures.

This itself hints at missing content since you cannot maintain your build in all climates unless, as I did, you buy a DLC with armor having the right protection and attributes.

Some might think this is a interesting reason to put out DLC; except for the skin it provides, but then again are those really skins since the properties vary?? I wonder.

Thats indeed something that break some builds, for exemple,I use accuracy with a mix of light/medium, therefore Shemite&Stygian, but to roam in cold areas, there’s only Hyrkanian which is heavy and my build has low encumbrance so I end up not having option going to snow areas without respeccing, very boring.

In my view, weather system could work like this;
If you’re using an armor for the correct temperature of that region, you gain a survival bonus, lets say 10 points.

If you’re not, you get a -5 in stamina, this way you can go to any place of the game without needing to change armor/build.
