PLEASE for the love of Crom, make Yamati cold resistant and Turanian heat resistant, PLEASE

I am certain that this subject has been brought up many times, just can’t find the topic anywhere. Funcom, I love conan exiles, have been playing it since it came out on xbox one, roled with the punches, the glitches abd tge bug but I am having trouble wrapping my head around the DLC packs, specifically the Yamati, Turanian and Pictish DLCs, for me, their temperature resistances are backwards and it makes me so frustrated, if you can’t reverse them for us, your loyal players, can you at least make versions of all the armors, (using diff crafting components) that are resistant to either cold or heat? I am begging you, please just consider it. -a loyal Exile

My personal suggestion is/was to make the armor lining the element that dictates the temp rating of any armor. Then you could make a warm weather lining and use it to make whatever armor you choose into a warm weather set. The same process could be utilized to make cold weather lining and armors.

I don’t know, having sweated my [CENSORED]s off in Japan in late October, having the Yamatai pieces be heat resistant makes perfect sense to me.

I do agree that the Turanian stuff being cold resistant makes no sense at all, however.

The reason it won’t change is due to balance there has to be # heat to # cold also they do not care about lore rob said that

I would go a step further and say if you modify armor for a temp resist to slightly change it to look more built for the temp its resisting. Slightly more or less bulky, extra or less fur, etc.

Yup!..desert people…maybe its a typo and they ment dessert people…

It does get really cold in Desert (give or take area) XD

I’m still in favor of them adding tools to change a armor resist.

Clearly the armors and building pieces in the DLC are based on those used in Turan’s chilly high-altitude territories.

Also yes making all the armors temperature neutral and then letting players make them warm or cold as they please would be much more convenient.

Or they could make Turanian buildings cold resistant then and implement a desert area that gets extremely frigid so that we could have an environment that suits this.

lmao so true… Like how is Pictish warm weather gear?

It has strappy vents in the back under fur.

Uh, it’s covered in fur, fur is warm, therfore it’s good to wear in warm weather.

It’s science.
