should I redownload the base game after every major update? or they will give us a simple “UPDATE” button?

This is moreso an issue with the Microsoft side of it. Funcom puts the update out for all platforms at the same time on pc, Steam and Epic deliver updates right away; but gamepass/ms store updates for any games is the biggest frustration imaginable. I’ve bought several games on steam in a fit of rage before because they never update on time
Sony spoils us to where i get annoyed if the update isn’t already installed when I get home.
so you saying this problem happens in all games in ms store? not just gamepass?
Pretty much, yeah. Any live games that get updates tend to be slow to update, on all pc platforms MS is always last.
And that happens far too often with some games (fallout 76). I’ve gotten to where I’ll log in from my phone at work. The reception is so bad that it just says “can’t connect” after attempting, but that’s usually enough to trigger it I guess.
