Are you actually being serious here? I’m asking, because you’re the same person who has been pointing out all over the place how people are getting “banned for 11 torches”.
While I don’t agree with @erjoh on all his points, it really shouldn’t be so hard to understand why breaking the spirit of the rules and breaking the letter of the rules are two different things, and why one should matter more than the other.
The same building techniques that allow you to stack ceilings on top of each other for added build density can be – and are – used to achieve aesthetic effects, such as laminated floors. There’s absolutely no reason why those of us who use it for aesthetic purposes should be treated the same way as those who would use it to gain an unfair advantage in competitive play.
Seriously, dude, where are you getting all this about being “forced to make smaller bases” or getting banned for “accidentally putting one thrall close to another”?
This kind of deliberate exaggeration is a textbook bad faith argument. All this does is give ammo to certain people who go around and derail every thread with claims about how people who say they want the rules clarified really only want to get away with breaking them.
