Third person? Not off the top of my head.
Sons of the Forest just released a few days ago. Pretty popular, though more modern day survival horror.
Grounded is relatively recent as well. I think it came out last fall if I remember right. Looks interesting, but is solidly in the cartoony, “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” theme.
Haven’t gotten around to trying either one for myself yet, but probably will at some point. I’m not sure if they’ve got a third person camera or not.
Other than that, I’m not aware of any newer or soon to be released titles. I’ve got several older ones I could suggest, but if you’re specifically looking for new ones, that’s all I’ve got right now I’m afraid.
sons of forest is 1st person only… and grounded doesnt even have character creation.
I am not sure about Dune, I believe it is expected for 2024, but that is the one I am waiting for

… One can hope. Its a fallout-in-space kind of game. While not a true survival, every bit of what Ive heard and seen made me think Bethesda has taken a lot of inspiration from No Man’s Sky - which is a survival game.
