When enemy approaches base either purge or animal my archers that are placed on my archer towers now simply step away from the enemy and fall off the structure. Also they very rarely fire now.
Archers should not fall of where they are placed. They should stay there and keep firing at enemy.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Make sure you have an archer
- Put archer on elevated structure like a ceiling tile on top of a pillar
- Get an enemy such as a turtle, to come close to where your archer is placed.
- You will now notice that the archer now backs away from the creature till she falls off. Also the archer very rarely fires arrows at the creature
All archers in game now seem to emulate the skeleton archers. retreat at full speed.
For thralls that are supposedly set to defend, ensure you have set their behavior to ‘Stand and Defend’. Otherwise they will retreat off of every foundation, wall, tower, or cliff on which they are placed. Unlike wild thralls, they will not teleport back to their starting position. They are perfectly happy to stop moving wherever they end up and just stand there.
Stand and Defend is also not working correctly. I am constantly logging on in the morning and finding all my archers standing on the ground in front of the wall where I placed them. I then redo Stand and Defend, only to find them on the ground again the next day or within a few days.
I will also note that this seems to be happening more often with newly placed archers. On servers that I have played on longer, the archers that I have placed there haven’t moved at all.
