Bug Description:

nearly 20 of my archers came undone from their posts and started running around during a purge. Then the server crashed every time I tried level 10 purge. When it comes back up, the archers had to be reset again … and the server has just crashed again. I have another bug report in about the crashing already, but if you could fix the archer posts please?

Here’s a video of it. You can see them running around in the distance, then my trying to reset one near me back onto it’s post. Then the server crashes after firing 2 arrows.

Here you see several archer running around during the purge, bunched up in corners, running by me. I have set every single one of these on their posts multiple times. Why does this not work? Ofc the vid ends with … the server crashing.

Greetings @Natohk ,

Thank you for sharing this!

We’ve forward it to the development team so they can investigate.

Still happening, even when I pen in the archers they get out. Less so, but they still get loose from the posts.

I tried experimenting with a few things and found it has little to do the thrall itself: Snowhunters were as likely to get loose as Du’neman - at first it appeared strength archers were the large majority of those getting loose, but I replaced those with agility archers and the agility archers do the same … so it has to do with the location of the post or archer within the building?

(I notice sometimes removing a nearby wall, the archers near it will move slightly, as tho they registered the change, despite the wall having nothing to do with them.)

I tried rebuilding the crenellation and post, setting the archers on their renewed posts … and same thing, archers running wild.

Still happening. I completely rebuilt part of my purge base, and they are running all over it.

Yesterday I reset everyone one of them to be sure, 10 minutes later they all fell to the ground or into foundations. After digging them out and resetting them yet again … I ran a purge later on and some archers were still getting loose.
