As a day one player, really enjoyed this update, thanks Funcom

Have not had any issues, technical wise, with the game. Restarted to experience new Journey system. Only feedback there was just has room for fine tuning steps in it for procuring materials on the crafting driven paths. Otherwise, have really enjoyed it a lot over the previous system, even learned something new after all these years doing it. But then, I just see it as an ala carte tutorial tool in the current iteration not the content I’d expect of a DLC.

For me, game is as good as it has ever been, PvE and PvP. Exclusively I am on player run servers though, my own and several others, so I suppose my milage varies greatly from the folks who haven’t after all these years worked out that official servers are an extended demo of CE’s PvP play, not the optimal way to experience it (I invite the flames of sophistry in reply with economically illogical reasoning for how CE is somehow full on a game as a service, when it is clearly not).

Thanks, Funcom, this update for me was smooth and added a lot of little features I’ve appreciated.

As for complaints about the content added, and things making the game ‘too easy’, yeah sorry that makes no sense to me. Want CE as a game as a service? Deploy a server. All these experts for what the optimal, best way, to do PvP would be, can knock yourselves out with settings, mods, etc, and get even better than game as a service experience. If the way you want the game is so great, I am sure you’ll get server pop easy.
