Just want to say thanks to all developers team

Playing few days only and having a nuclear blast

Seriously. I mean how could I miss this game?!
I played all open world survival games on this planet, but somehow, I missed Conan Exiles.
Played Ark hundreds of hours, then Chinese game Myth of the Empires, Empyrion and only 3 days ago I finally decided to try CE. Here is some ideas:

  • I think it’s the most realistic and beautifully animated combat out there.
  • very beautiful graphics, environment, fauna (animals) models, animation and behavior, NPC models, armor sets and workbenches models. Masterpiece without any exaggerations. Especially animals.
  • absolutely amazing sorcery implementation! Starting from the first page of the dead sorcerer and finishing with casting animation, magic tome upgrades, different types of spells and new buildings. Another masterpiece, devs, really.
  • accidentally found out that there is a storyline and a lore! So many things to do now
  • overall, after exploring only south part of the map CE feels like Dark Souls in open world.
  • some locations and dungeons are really amazing. Yesterday found Temple of Frost and was walking around with torch and without it for almost an hour enjoying light reflections from ice  Volcano and well of Skelos is the most beautiful volcano, liquid lava, fog/smoke and lighting location I’ve ever seen in my life.

Are you serious?

The honeymoon phase with CE is admittedly great. Sadly over time you will realize the game is full of severe bugs, you are in an abusive relationship with Funcom, and every patch makes the game worse.

It’s not about happy pink snots from my nose or honeymoon period. And it’s not about plenty of bugs (I already made another topic with my bug list).
It’s just my personal impressions about the game. Maybe I didn’t play all the games in the world (but I’m sure I did, lol) and I didn’t see any other games with more beautiful combat animation/combos/finishers and animals’ models and behavior, but I see what I see. Feel free to enlighten me. I’ll be grateful.
Yes, technically game is far from perfection, but visuals, combat and sorcery implementation are really impressive.
And to be honest I got almost everything I could dream about from single player PVE game - big world to explore, 8 dungeons, world bosses, purges (bugged or just strange mechanic?), companions to find, creatures to tame, crafting, gathering etc.
Of course, I would like to see factions and reputation mechanic with unique armors and weapons, more rideable creatures to tame, more tameable creatures to fight together, fighter companions knocked out mechanic or at least resurrection option, sorcery skill tree etc.

Agree with all your points and want to add that the musical score is great, I sometimes listen to it if I don’t have time to play.

:point_up_2: This! I love the freedom our character has now, it’s surely way easier pve, way way easier than the one i started, but the combat style is magnificent. The landscaping is amazing, although Siptah has beautiful landscapes as well, it’s not exile lands. In this map, i believe, every single player has stopped from times to times to enjoy views, sunsets, etc… They have done simply amazing job in this part.
The most important is that while playing this game you feel like a real person playing it, not like a toon if you’re getting me here, even if i play with a toon that’s totally the opposite sex than mine. My Bella (my dogs name) is a sexbomb and i am a fat grey beard far from everything sexy in this life old man. Yet i feel connected to this toon, that’s controversial of my whole gaming history. Still this game managed to break many taboos i had as a gamer.
So far, no matter the bugs, or sometimes the lousy performance, or the everysingleupdatefiasko, it’s one of the best game i ever played and after several thousands of hours, i still enjoy!
Yes @VYMka, i do understand what you mean, welcome to the game fellow exile!

The honeymoon phase didn’t last long for him ( and he didn’t even had the crom coin extorsion bug ) Sorry, Funcom, but now I don't want to play anymore

Lol, it lasted about a week for me as well. Conan used to have passive health regen, I started playing a week before that got the axe. It was very reasonable, it did not replace healing at all, but for a noob it let you engage in a fight, then wander around doing noob stuff for 5 minutes and regenerate your health before your next fight. But because Funkhram hates fun they took that away from us.

Such a minor thing compared to all the astonishingly bad patches they have inflicted on us over the years, but yeah… put a bad taste in my mouth from the start.

“Where did this amazing game come from and who are these clowns who make it worse with each patch???”

Just get it with 5 vitality points?..

Bad timing for praising them.

There was a long period of time between when they removed passive health regen and when they added the vitality perk with health regen.

Oh, I see. I didn’t play then, so didn’t know!

I agree with one core thing, Conan Exiles is nice, great ip, many nice features not seen in other games and will to back and play again.
This all is nice, but no matter how game is enjoying, constant destroy it by not tested changes, lack of current and fast support, over and over reduce playerbase caused by poor support actions outshine greteness of conan ip.

Man we all been there. Then we were wore out by all the screw-ups.
It’s a gem in the hands of people who don’t seem able to be up to the task. A real shame that. This was once my absolute favorite game.
