Audio/Video Loading Issues [severe] PS4-Pro

Game mode: [Online | Singleplayer]
Problem: [Audio Bug | Visual Bug | Performance]
Region: [US]
System: [PS4Pro]

Certain problems have plagued this game on my system since launch, and have not been fixed in any patches yet. Two of them are for me completely game breaking, and devalue the game to the point where I have had to adamantly discourage friends from purchasing the game till they are fixed. The first and most persistant is the infinite audio desync. Throughout my time in this game I find it obscenely rare to hear combat noise within 10 seconds of the actual combat. Weapon swinging sounds are delayed, and npc chatter, taunts and death moans usually play after the enemy is already long dead. This means sneak attacks happen in every conflict on the fringes of settlements or nests. But that actually is worse than just silent strikes. In both single player and on servers, approaching a village can sometimes (though more rarely lately) result in a camp of invisible and silent killers. Walking through a seemingly empty village often results in my healthbar vanishing in meager seconds regardless of my armor due to enemies the game didn’t bother to represent to any of my senses, yet permitted to perform lethal combos on me unchallenged, often by clusters of up to 5 warriors. I usually see them load around me as my character spontaneously errupts in blood post-mortem. This problem is mildly reduced from launch where eleven the village huts, drums, and other clutter didn’t render either. I favor this game for its intended forms of combat and survival, but the unending fouled up audio, it is an experience not unlike biting into a delicious slice of cake only to find broken razor blades scattered throughout the frosting. This game is a game I passionately want to enjoy, but now that game mechanics seem so refined, the only problem left is to make it run properly enough to make my deaths in game something I can reasonably blame on myself. I would have asked for a refund for this game by day 3 of the official ps4 launch if I had realized everything that led to me abandoning the game then would be present in only slightly reduced severity this much later. As it is, I have removed the game from my system 4 times already, and re-installed it that many times at delay to see if just the audio works. I wait a patch or two between installing, but this game has been worth nothing when factored against the time now wasted just waiting for the game to run well enough to call a ps4 game and not a botched emulation of a pc game.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:
1.install game
2.run game on any mode with any configuration settings online or offline
3.get near any npc aggressive or peaceful
4.observe the awkward silence and glitched out audio

The audio desync is common issue on The Division game too.
When game is going on long play time, audio get start desync.

Finally part of audio will be gone.
Place sound of foundation/decoration won’t make a matching sound.
I guess that problem come from PS4 structure system.

What I don’t get is why this problem is in Conan Exiles on the unreal engine if ot is not present at all in any form in Ark Survival Evolved on same engine. I never played the Division, so honestly this is the only game on my ps4 that has ever had this issue for me.

Agree +10000000000000000000000000000000000 to OP. I mean come on Funcom, how is this still a thing on console? To add to @AZUREstrand chests/boxes, doors, character grunts, breathing, swimming, animals, and pets all have after sound effects. You don’t know what’s going on half the time when you hear certain sounds that make you believe someone is in the area looting your stuff or killing your pets and thralls (and they don’t know how to defend themselves) and then you realize “oh it was just me lagging both visually and audio-ally”. Bad on consoles where it’s probably not even a thing on PC. It feels like a bad port even though I think it was built along side the PC version if I’m correct. The PC version definitely gets all the attention in streams and advancements though, where consoles take a backseat.

P.S. When things get real bad audio or visual wise you know you are crashing soon or even console rebooting with or without you actually doing the reboot. The games got a lot of memory issues.
