I thought it was just me, I uninstalled the game and reinstalling it right now. Waste of time then if others have the same error :sweat_smile:

Funcom Services are completely failing right now; servers say a few people are on, but ive been watching the numbers slowly dwindle as these people log off or disconnect, and cant get back in again. someone else said that Funcom was significantly delayed in fixing this last time it happened, but if theyre smart about it they should have found a way to make the fix faster. this could be an issue with G-portal, but i dont have a way to test that.

I’m getting this same error no matter the server I try to join.

Same here, was trying everything - reinstalling, different servers, everything for last 6hrs. Was able to get into one server and get kicked in 5min or less. Only option is just to wait till Funcom fix it…

It’s not your PC, game files, battle eye or anything on your end. It’s not the game servers, gportal or whether it’s a private or official server.

All the Authentication Failed messages are directly related to Funcom’s Live Services which authenticates your login and verifies you are who you say you are. Basically, it’s a stepping stone between your PC and the servers. The only known workaround or solution is brute force entry. Sometimes it takes 50+ attempts before you finally connect and sometimes it takes less than 5 attempts, but you can still login if you have the patience to do this.

For five hours, I have tried everything that I found that was suggested to fix the Authentication Failed issue except I did not reinstall the game . . . unstalled, then reinstalled BattlEye many many times, Validated files, Ensured Conan was in the Allowed List for the Firewall, Rebooted my computer several times. I still cannot get in. My husband could not get in on his computer either for about two hours, he uninstalled then reinstalled BattlEye. He kept trying to get in and he finally made it in. :roll_eyes:

Just finished reinstallimg my game, all morning. Not made any difference for me, waste of time :+1:

I have same problem and also 6 other friends.
Authentication failed, also on other servers.

Never assume is a your end problem m8, Funcom are known for being fckups , always check forums when u encounter a problem , then u notice the earliest reporting of said problem was 12 hours ago and it’s still going but hey we are talking about the people that left a fiber bomb bug up for months -

The problem is not on players end, re-installing things won’t make any difference, it is a problem with Steam and Funcom, I mostly think it has something to do with Funcom Live service that throws this error.

Some have managed to get into their server and play, and even some of them got kicked at random and had to keep trying over to log into their server, personally I spent almost ½ hour just repeating the process of logging into my server, I have no idea how many times I have tried, but every attempt have resulted in “Authentication Failed” error.

I play on 2 official servers, one of them should be fine, but the other will decay tomorrow unless I get online and make sure it is refreshed :worried:

It is happening if you play Conan Exiles through Epic too, so it definitely isn’t a Steam issue.

The server I play on for both Siptah and the Exiled lands are usually popping at this time, so I know this is a wide spread issue.

I noticed last couple of days was getting thrown out of game more than normal so maybe warning signs it was on the brink, before the authentication fail started. I saw 1 or 2 players manage to get in my particular server which is usually busy so definitely loads affected

Maybe Funcom will start FIXING game & bugs and finaly will start work ?
I’ll tell you a secret on the market there are a huge number of alternative survival games with more thoughtful construction (where at least during the raid you can’t build walls through walls and textures) If you continue to treat your players the same way, the game will be thrown into the trash, and so empty servers will die altogether, start doing something before it’s too late.

Cant log in the server i play since yesterday when the issue started, and looking at the server and talking to the people, no one can, but seems they not even reading what is going on, prolly because is weekend, but that shows a low importance to the customer. Even if no one around to fix the issue at least someone to say that this will be addressed as soon as possible will be a good thing, but of course, if was a Baazar issues then i bet would be all hands on deck to fix it, seem to forget with no possibility to play, there’s no money spending, after all, i wont spend money in a product that i cant use. Hope gets fixed before the interest shifts to other games

Same here - glad I didn’t re-install the game :slight_smile: Would be amazing if there was an update on how long it’s going to take to bring servers back online.
