30 gold coins to make a bar. One bar makes 5 coins. One bar makes 10 powder and 5 coins make 10 powder, so bar and coin to power match up, but some how melting coins down into a bar is a terrible loss of gold (or silver).
Just a silly thing, but I feel this should equal out, rather than losing 83% of the gold, when converting coins to bars.
I do think this is true.
Never smelted coins anymore after that happened once to me…
At least not without me waiting at the furnace, patiently waiting for the last coin to finish…
