1) Fast Moving and High Damaging Boss/World Boss: Could you please try to battle a powerful, fast moving NPC such as the White Tiger world boss (alone), and see how the drinking and bandaging animations hold up?
Yeah that one, with no thrall is pretty awful. You can move away from it and get the heal, which isnt stopped my taking damage. Bandaging really only works if you can get to somewhere it cant hit you (like building a sandstone foundation). When you’re actively blocking with a shield, you cannot use an aloe potion or a bandage but can still eat. I found it was better to just use the aloe soup (which does still heal pretty decently), with my block up and wait until the bleeds expired.
2) Large Number of Enemies at Once: Could you please also try to battle a large number of humanoid NPCs at once, in a situation where you may or may not become encircled (also alone). Such as the Wights in the battle with Thag
This one I’m having trouble with, due to thag bugging out. When I’m summoning him he just stands there, not attacking which allowed me to just kill him and none of the skellies spawned. Mounds of the dead not too bad, just hop on a roof and bandage when needed.

If set raid times still exist, I believe your original idea would have been way better and am extremely disappointed to see it shoved away before even being tried out.
TLTR: Funcom, you will never get PVP settings balanced. Instead, you should provide more variability of official servers types.
There are different players and play styles. People here are fighting about are the new settings good or bad and each have theirs arguments. Nothing new in that. And it is obvous that they will NEVER come to agreement. Just because they are looking for different things.
The new setting are good and bad at the same time. It depends of point of view. The same is true for current settings also.
The real problem is that the Game offers variability of PVP raid settings equal to zero. I am talking about official servers.
It is either 6 hours of raid time per day or none at all. But what is 6 hours? It is actually 1/4 of entire human’s life! It is a simple math! With 6 hours raids you can only sleep (8), work (8), eat some food (2) in your life and… protect your Base! But, still, somebody would say that 6 hrs is not enough and they have a right to say so if they are ready to invest more of thier time into the Game!
So why only 3 types (and only ONE with buildings damage!) of official servers settings exist? This is so big loss, given how many configurable server settings developers have implemented!

Best I can tell it’s gonna be Friday and Saturday stay normal, so from 1700-2300 GMT for that server raiding mechanics will commence as normal. Then from Sunday to Thursday the new “dynamic” “offline raid protection will apply” so can only raid if they are online or up to 30 minutes after they logging. I’m still unclear as to whether the “dynamic” will be all day long or just during normal raid times. And also I recall something about there possibly being “Sunday off” so no raiding on Sundays at all?
dynamic so long you are online you can be raided in any time . if you get raid and log out u will stil be raided til 30min pass off then they cant dmg yours base more. and dynamic for friday to sunday it normal raid time like now 17:00-23:00 it will not work as dynamic it will work as it work like today normal raid time
The plans are changing a lot … going from one extreme to the next.
It is meaningful and difficult to find the right adjustments, since different factions of the pvp community have different needs:

Despite that, the possibility to offline raid is still essential. Be it to erase excessive landclaim, cheaters, arrange a raid with normal people (not nolifers) or attack while largely outnumbered. But how do we push towards onlining if offlining is still possible?

A lot of not-hardcore pvpers wish to have a large chunk of safe time to play in safety or to not play and still be free of worries. This is true for working days as well as weekend days, and results in a conflict with the first two points.

Now you brought up “Dynamic Building Damage” to solve these conflicts. As with every ruleset, it may be abused to a certain extend, and cannot be the only solution to all the problems. Maybe this is why you proposed to not make it real on officials but let the private servers test it.
I don´t think it is overly effective to let private servers test the Dynamic Building Damage. It is great for them to have, and they might be able to iron out existing bugs, but the abuses prefer to prosper on the officials for known reasons. So why not try to implement the new feature right away?
I propose a solution that combines the three different components you have ready, but does not spread them too much over the different week days:

Keep the building damage disabled (total raid protection) for the bigger part of the normal working time.

Enable building damage (make offline raiding possible) in a smaller time window than it is atm, but nearly daily.

Use the Dynamic Building Damage (online raiding only) in a time window before and after the Offline Raid Time Window (like you did with the purge time, but longer).

I’m actually not sure why the devs caved so quickly. There were a fair number of positive comments at first, so it’s not like the proposed changes were universally hated.

Yeah , for real. IMO the raid time mechanics of this game were fine. The most complaints I ever heard were that the hours are too long and could be a little shorter but I also saw those same people take all 6 hours to raid a base and didn’t quite manage to get everything so I think the hours are fine.

Well, there goes my only hope of ever trying PVP on an official server. I thought PVP mode was supposed to be competitive, but it seems like people here prefer offline raiding.
And then they tell people to go play PVE if they can’t make their life revolve around official PVP hours. The pinnacle of irony is right there: people who don’t realize their preferred playstyle – offline raiding – is essentially PVE with some makeup, tell other people to go play PVE if they don’t like being raded offline…

Alex, our Conan Exiles Lead Designer wrote a few lines about the upcoming PVP servers and how we’re going to adjust them based on your feedback:
We are adjusting our plans for server settings on official PvP servers.
Building Damage will be enabled on:
- Friday
- Saturday
- Sunday
- Monday
We are reducing the total number of days during which your buildings can be damaged on PvP servers, giving players time during the week where they do not need to protect their buildings and can engage with other activities during prime time.
Dynamic Building Damage will be disabled on official PvP servers. Private servers will be able to use and evaluate this feature, based on its popularity and telemetry we will reevaluate the setting for official PvP servers later.

Indeed. Once I realized they addressed anyone trying to abuse their offline raid protection and just worded the original post wrong, it actually sounded like a really good system.
