- This is not a manager’s case. no admin.
- The subject owner wrote that she had problems when she first logged in and that her movements were restricted. ( So the invisible walls were preventing her from moving. Or it was stuck in an invisible foundation. )
- When he entered the game as a result of player render. The server had to process that structure. And it probably had difficulty and couldn’t process it.
- The player exits the game and then the server automatically fixes the problem when the player’s render time has expired.
- The server itself made the correction. Not the admin, not any other player. Only the server automatically corrected the anomaly. In other words, it deleted the structure. It did this to prevent the server from crashing. It does not do it every time. And many servers crash. Maybe it is closed for 2 days. But this time it deleted it and the server did not crash. It was saved from crashing.
I’m sorry but an unpopular item must have caused the problem.
- big bases, using many different types of structures together. also having many different types of decoration elements. pushing your luck too much. these guys even deleted a whole dlc structure. a simpler base is my preference.
- The name of the structure they deleted was Nemedian.
- In this game; a simple base should be made and decoration should be avoided. If you want, make a separate village and decorate it,But don’t use it. Just make art, don’t live there.
I don’t remember, but I don’t think it’s delayed just because they’re using a different system. I’ve never heard of a suspension being delayed days after a base removal.
It’s Helpshift.
Delays are super rare, I can dig up the examples if you’d like. Might be a bit though, working on Bugs & Issues list.
You know this of course but for clarity sake with others:
Funcom uses third party tools like Zendesk and Helpshift to recieve, log, organize, review and reply to tickets. They don’t use third party teams or these tools to perform server actions, account suspensions and bans.
So really, it stands to reason that there’s no difference between the two in how players are affected as a result of tickets.
Notwithstanding the addition of the general inquiry return and that you have to reply to the automated email from ticket submission.
Yeah, don’t worry about. Point is, I doubt a delay is the issue here… then again, we won’t know for sure unless it actually happens.
The event log states April 23rd which was almost 5 days after we reset the timers.
Yea there was no notification or suspension of any kind. The event log only mentions “decayed”. Nothing about stability loss or admin removal. I’ll also mention our base was large but there is a group on the same server with more bases claimed than us and each one is just as big if not larger than the one we lost. In terms of over decorating, I try to make sure the game can handle what we place. I had an issue in the past of a group that built in the buccaneer Bay Area that made the area inaccessible due to too overbuilding. The game would literally crash every time it tried loading their base and I had the hardest time getting out of the area as the game would crash 10 seconds when I would boot it up, so that is something I keep in mind when building.
We still have our 2 other locations so I’m probably not going to rebuild. A lot of people tend to build in the area our base that disappeared was at so if we do,it will be in a more secluded area away from other players.
It’s a just a strange situation and I would just like to know what actually caused such a premature decay because me and my buddy don’t want to get on and see our other bases just poof from existence.
As of today no notification of a ToC violation or ban/suspension. If we did break some rule then it was our bad but obviously not intentional, as mentioned in a previous reply we had an issue in buccaneer bay where the area couldn’t be accessed due to another players base crashing the game the second it started to render in.
When we build a base i usually log out and in several times spawning at the base to see if the game loads fine. While it usually took some time to render in (about 15 sec) it never crashed but once in the almost year we had the place. However Conan tend to crash occasionally so I don’t think our base was the culprit.
Greetings @CRZ304,
Can you, please, send us a screenshot pointing to the location where this base was built?
Can you also let us know the name of your character and clan? You can send this information through a private message if you prefer.
This base was present on the 22nd of April, right? Were there any additions to this base before it got decayed?
The “they are worse” is not a defense, not even for a child.
But you are pointing out one of the public server issues, “how can what I’m doing be wrong when everyone else is”?
And how would you do that? There is no measure for it.
Did the thought of reporting it ever enter your mind?
That is why the system is a fail from the start, it depends on players being HOA agents,
You do get there is server side and client side lag. Just because it doesn’t effect your PC doesn’t mean it wont lag down some one else’s.
A large build takes up the same memory space no matter where you build it.
Oh no it’s never your base, till it is.
Kudos, a nonAI response
@CRZ304 Not meaning to come at you personally, my biggest on going pet peeve is over builds and how the ToC is a joke. It’s a fail from expecting us to be HOA agents to the no warning no explanation bans. Since no one wants to be that guy, and most people build by example and never read the ToC, we end up with Noob river looking like down town Dubai, or the sink hole starting to look like Los Vegas. Or brand new, looks like funcom added in, a nordemhier{?} city. Or like the server I’m on. There seems to be some competition to see who can block the most pathes best.
Looks like it might be a bug after all.
There are castles in the dlc steam screenshots So Funcom uses this when marketing their dlcs. How can we be guilty when we make castles? Castles are part of their marketing policy. When I pay for that dlc, I can’t wait for the castle I’m going to make with it. The people who make castles here are not guilty. But I really liked your comparisons. And you’re right, Dubai and LasVegas
Ya, nothing wrong with 20 Hogwarts of every DLC style around every obelisk, right?
I so want to use the term “disingenuous” but you might honestly believe every commercial on the internet. I mean common sense and critical thinking are lost arts now aren’t they.
So you watched the intro video all the way throw, did you read the ToC? Looked at the examples of violations?

Ok champ, be safe please I just wanted to make a humorous criticism to lighten the mood. Of course, 10th Mordor is a very annoying situation.
