Bug Description:
My entire base disappeared; foundations, walls, roofs, and stored resources. All that was left was my thralls and a few items of furniture.

Edit: Oh, singleplayer. Hmm, that could be literally anything else. Good thing it’s singleplayer though. If you can remember the layout foundation for foundation then rebuilding it in creative mode shouldn’t be an issue but I do empathize. That shouldn’t’ve happened.
The same happened to me a long time ago. It’s possible that you got a little carried away while building and ended up with a huge base. They tend to do that. Was that the case?
It was a bit on the big side. But if there is a build limit, it would be good to know about that in advance, or get a warning when you approach it.
There isn’t. When the game starts acting funny, fps drops, textures take longer to load, you are getting there. Some stuff causes more problems. Try to have only the thralls you need, don’t use too many light sources, placeables, etc. Be a bit of a minimalist, because when the chests start getting full and the stations start working, the load will increase. If, on top of that, you have an event close or summon a purge, trouble is assured.
