Bearer Thrall Update

Make a workstation called “resource center” where you can let Bearer Thralls work which job is to “deliver” resources as needed around crafting stations. the Thrall does not need to actually sort the items but could rather work as a way to let multiple crafting stations use the same inventory.

One of the biggest hurdles of Conan exiles is the many inventories you are forced to manage when crafting. how many crafting stations need hardened steel as an example? with an “resource center” station you could help streamline crafting by adding 200 hardened steel into it and every work station within a radius (Dependent on Thrall tier) have access to that inventory to pull from when crafting

an alternative way for it to function could be to have an additional inventory in a crafting station to add say 1 hardened steel to keep the example consistent. and with an hardened steel bar in the inventory the thrall knows now to add hardened steel into that stations inventory. and would add an equal amount of Hardened steel into each work stations with Hardened steel in that secondary inventory

I am the one person who thinks NPCs should do a lot of things.
But there is a limit in which it becomes the game playing itself.

well all the item collection, building, crafting, thrall collection and dungeons would still be your tasks. but carry around items two different crafting benches 2000 times gets quite tedious i feel

Well, I like the idea of a central storage, where you fill your stuff in and every bench in the vicinity can draw on, how you accompany that visually is secondary. Other games like Enshrouded do that very well.
On the other hand, that would mean a complete rework of the inventory system and after what they have done with the personal inventory, I rather feel, they shouldn’t touch that, as I fear that there are no capable developpers left on the game to do that properly.
Looks like my role in the base is, to act as a resource bearer

It is not all about whats, but whens.
A game is by definition the choice of inconvenience for a reward.

It is the exact problem. You are suggesting the menial task keeps on the player, but the main organizational one be made by the NPC.
