[Hi there! I’ve encountered with an issue, bug really, which is - dying in safe place (indoors) , in my base actually, being offline, on a pve server. No mombs, nor anything dangerous in vicinity. I just don’t get it, how is it possible at all… I’ve been playing for months and always go off at the same location. Nothing similar has happened before. The worst part is that I lost all of the gear which I have with me. Sobek gear, legendary weapons etc. I don’t know what to do now(( sorry for my eng, BTW. ]
Steps on how to reproduce issue:
1.Went offline on September 1st (at the safe location)
2. Have logged in (Sept. 2nd) without any gear on me.
3. Lost everything while being killed offline.

There is some case where you can die while offline in your base : if after logging off (then when the Vitality perk about temperature doesn’t apply) your character become heatstroked because too close to a heating source.
Maybe this is what happened to you and unfortunately there is nothing to do except paying attention to those damn fireplaces and braziers.
Hi! Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I know that this could happen and I’ve never gone off near such places which produce heat. Always on my bed. That’s why this is so weird. Further more, I could not find any notes at the log. There’s nothing in it, the reason from what I died I mean, just notes that I lost bags with gear.
Even in PvE servers, death may still occur while offline due to NPCs, sandstorm or even temperature.
In any case, we apologize for the frustration and recommend that you make sure your character is within full shelter and if it is experiencing any temperature effects before logging out, as well as depositing all your inventory in a chest, which should help prevent any possible loss of items should something happen to your character while you’re offline.
