We have large shelves (I mostly find them in chests in New Asagarth but probably they can be found elsewhere too).
Ok, cool, I like them. My Treasure room is great now … but … they are a bit raw. I mean they make cool Storage forniture but … when it comes to Treasure Rooms … isn’t it possible to have something better ?
I think that would be a good bazaar item.

I love the Nordheimer shelves. I used to use them all the time. Then I lost a few important chests that were on them due to them not having their decay refreshed along with everything else. So, sadly, I have stopped using them.
I would love for there to me more such shelves. But I would also love for them to actually be shelves you can put stuff on without fear of losing it.

Does that scan ?
Because that isnt something one would probably do when coding a game.
Please explain what you mean.
If the decay does not refresh the shelves attached to a wall that is refreshed, that is a strange crappy code.

So you’re suggesting that bugs don’t exist?

Theese shelves are not attached to walls but on floors.
Just out of curiosity, did you verify that it was decay and not stability?
I remember losing chests because the stability sometimes doesn’t propagate correctly after the server reboots and loads up the database. I also remember having two fountains and having to constantly replace one of them because it kept decaying.
So both causes are definitely plausible and both can be confirmed. In one case, you can see the stability loss in the event log. In the other, you can see the inconsistent decay timer using the repair hammer.
I’m asking mostly out of curiosity, but also because it can help the devs nail the bug.
You can use these as shelves if you have them
