Last night I lost 3 large chests to decay while I was standing next to them.
They were located on the shelf, with a chest below them.
They have been that way a long time.
Apparently the shelf made them unstable.
I lost the contents of 2 of them. I got the bag with my gold thank goodness.
I read in the Server event notes they decayed.
I took down all chest from shelves.
Any way to recover the stuff I lost?
No way to recover other than re-farming unfortunately.
There’s been decay issues with placeables happening for some time. Somtimes it is fixed and then it resurfaces.
But the problem with placing on shelves has been a cautionary tale for many. Best not to do that anymore.
The shelves have been unstable for a very very long time, best not to put anything on them.
Rule n1 of conan, never stack stuff.
Yes, i took down all my shelves.
