Black screen while launching my game

So this started happening after my latest NVIDIA update a few days ago. While launching my game, my screen goes black. First it stayed like that for a few seconds and then the game started and now, the screen goes black after showing the main menu and all I hear is the music going on loop. Id be very greatful for tips on how to solve this. Thank you

Welcome to the forum Rebecca, :blush:

I had this issue with some games in the past, and what often helped me, was to install the previous version of the driver. You can always find them at the Nvidia driver archive on their website.
If that works you can try to install the new driver two weeks later.

Sometimes something went wrong with the installation or download and you just have to redownload and reinstall the new driver.

Thanks for the reply, tried it and I got into the game but then Funcom sent a bug report and the game went down. I could however send a crashreport away so hopefully that will help. I dont even know if my problem is connected tp NVIDIA or the game/server itself. But based on the bugg report I guess its the game…

Welcome to the forum.

This is a known issue that has recently occurred for multiple people.

They are aware of the issue, and most likely will solve it soon.
