I have been playing conan exiles for a few months and take certain path to get to places but now I am having trouble getting through a path that has been totally blocked off by some player. Now I jave to get across the mountain the hard way via climbing now that the path has been clogged up. Is there a way funcom cantell the player to clear that path up? I know there is such a thing as free building but blocking a path is a major pain for me ans other players. Member of official server 3522 ps4 console
My suggestion would be to message the player and ask them for a way through their wall or base or whatever it is. I didn’t see if it’s PVP or PVE so the response you get may differ. Can usually solve blocking issues with a polite message explaining your situation.
Funcom does not have admins on the servers and does not police them. They will get involved in extreme circumstances but from your description I don’t think that’s the case.
I am in pve conflict server. I am just inquiring cause this is rather obnoxious not to try to police the server. But at the same would you feel annoyed some player blocked one of the major paths in the game for one reason or another?
Unless it renders the game unplayable, Funcom doesn’t care.
The example they use is walling off the starting desert, since everyone spawns there, and will just die repeatedly if they can’t get into the main map, that makes the game literally unplayable. Having to climb a mountain or go the long way around doesn’t make the game unplayable.
CE may fit the definition of an MMO, but Funcom chooses not to provide the same level of support you would find in traditional MMOs.
So long story short, you’re on your own.
It’s not policing the server to tell someone. “Hey I use X path and you have blocked it off. Then ask them to make a way through.”
It’s a conflict server so it may start a fight but you’re there for that anyway. If it doesn’t start a fight maybe you gain some allies.
Either way you’re on your own to deal with it however you choose. As @Aria_of_Sorrow stated.
