Bug Description:

Blue screened doing a “jump drop” into the water while in fly- and god mode, now unable to load back in and can’t be killed by another player or by drowning. Server restart did not help.

Bug Reproduction:

Go to admin panel, activate ‘fly’-mode, then tick ‘god’-mode and admin teleport to area outside the ‘green wall’ above Buccaneer Bay. Fly/jump/drop into the water.

G portal has a forum too. I believe that what you endure right now needs a report on g portal as well! I will summon a veteran owner of private servers that owns ps5 too to do the same tests to his server.

Yes I will have not ventured out side the wall in years. Will use secondary character in case of similar occurrence.

First 2 trys went to the upper right grassy area no problem then went to where @EmmyMorv mentioned died twice going back to desert .

Tried a third time attempting to fly over wall earned 2 trophies in the attempt wall disappeared went to fly over and drop on the other side wall got me back to dessert. @stelagel .I have no suggestions if he is blue screening he can’t get in to recreate character. Perhaps if he was kicked from the server and then allowed back.

We didn’t fly over the wall, we admin teleported to the area, and then we built some stuff there as well - I’ve since removed all the building pieces etc and he still can’t load in.

ETA: will kicking someone from a server delete their old character/force them to make a new one once they’re allowed back on?

I actually admin teleported the the first trys up were your pictures show survived. He mentioned trying to go over into the ocean if I read correctly every time I tried died. So I tried flying over it on last try. Never have banned any one that came back to server unsure if it wipes character or not. Has he tried a alternate account/ character? @EmmyMorv

Yes, we just jumped here and there in the water while building. The blue screen/crash happened when he did that ‘jumping and dropping’ thing you can do when you’re flying in admin mode.

He tried making a new character with an alternate account, and he could join without trouble. The problem is that his main account is also a clan leader, so it makes some things difficult.

That does cause a problem. Do you have officer’s in the clan who can bring him into the clan? @Community do you have any suggestions :thinking: Thanks in advance… @EmmyMorv

Yes, it’s just a bummer that his character is stuck like that - it’s a RP server and his character is pretty central to the story

We have considered trying to log on his main account, but from another console - not sure if it would make any difference tho

We haven’t tried the console method yet, but do you know whether a ban wipes the player’s character?
